Sweet Basil and Honey Popsicles, a healthy, protein packed sweet treat, perfect for the summer heat!
It was 100 degrees here today! It was even to darn hot for the pool, our poor little toes were getting roasted just trying to get into the water! Summer is here which means cold refreshing foods are a must. Enter these healthy popsicles! I seriously think I could have a blog just about popsicles. They are so easy and fun to make and the kids always love them. Even if they have basil in them. (Yes, basil!!)
Basil has to be my all time favorite herb. It smells and tastes fantastic! And sweet basil really is sweet, especially when you mix it with some honey and vanilla greek yogurt. It’s such a unique and yummy flavor; the kids even wolfed them down.
There’s green stuff in them and the kids still ate them. That’s a pretty rare occurrence in our house. Green stuff = #1 Enemy.
These must be GOOD!!
